Every Door Direct Mail is a new service from the USPS which allows small businesses to mail to individual carrier routes (up to 5000 addresses per day). As a Zipmapper.com user, you have the perfect tool to target your carrier routes. You can zoom into the street level and select carrier route boundaries and then select indivdual routes to build a target area. Once you have your area defined - run a report by Carrier Route level detail and you will have your quantities. Remember you can only mail up to 5000 pieces in a day.

You can get Mail Tubs at the post office to put your bundles into. Use one mail tub for each carrier route. So for example if you are mailing a route that has 320 pieces you will make 6 bundles of 50 pieces and one bundle of 20 pieces. You will need 7 facing slips. Mark each slip with the carrier route number and number the slips 1 of 7, 2 of 7, 3 of 7, etc and with the number of pieces in each bundle. Then put all the bundles in the tub for that carrier route.
Bring all the tubs and the postage form and your payment to the post office of the town where the mail will be going.
